2019/2020 NNL: OGSG Pledges Support For Gateway UTD

Ogun State Government has assured Gateway United FC of adequate support in the 2019/2020 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign.

          The Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Development and Employment Generation, Mr. Lekan Olude, gave the assurance while admonishing players at MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, saying Government would leave no stone unturned at repositioning the Club.

          “Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun is determined at ensuring that Gateway United FC, regains its lost glory.  We have come up with plans aimed at bringing the best out of the players”, he said.

          He further expressed confidence in the ability of the management and the technical crew of the club to take the team to a new height.

          “I’m confident that we stand a good chance of winning the match. The technical crew on ground has success history. Many of them have won laurels for the nation, he enthused”.

          The Head Coach, Akeem Busari, thank government for its continued support, promising to leave nothing to chance in the opening match against Giant Brillars of Enugu State.

          In his remark, the Acting General Manager, Mr. Niyi Soleye, expressed readiness of the team to make the State proud.
