The Ogun State government has ordered owners of illegal structures, shanties, illegal motor parks and vehicles displayed along the expressway, to remove them immediately, in compliance with the physical planning law.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Urban and Physical Planning, Tpl Olatunji Odunlami, gave the order while fielding questions from newsmen, on the present administration’s plan for physical development of the state.
Odunlami pointed out that the vision of the Prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration was to make the State best among other States in Nigeria, warning that State Government would not tolerate unauthorised parking of vehicles, trucks and others on the high ways and no one has the right to use it for commercial purposes.
‘’Property owners along the Expressway should note that the space in front of their property is a public space and they don’t have right to use it without government permit”, he said.
