Did Prince Harry manipulate Queen Elizabeth’s grandmother with ‘arrangements’? You feel… | World news
Prince Harry was always close with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II who died in September 2022. She was a big part of Prince Harry’s life, including while he and Meghan were finalizing their exit from the royal family. A royal biographer says Prince Harry has a way of letting the Queen go with whatever “ideas” she creates because she always has a “soft spot” for her grandson.
The deceased king had eight grandchildren. Perhaps the soft spot is due to Prince Harry going by a boyhood which royal author Andrew Morton believes has always allowed him to get in with the Queen when others couldn’t.
“You have the ability to go in and see your grandmother – because she’s part of the family. He was very good at getting the Queen to accept some of his ideas. And it’s good for her, it’s good that she can do that,” said Andrew Morton, recalling the time the Queen posed for a commercial with Prince Harry for his Invictus Games in 2016.
Royal reporter Kinsey Schofield echoed the comment saying that Prince Harry is “a grandson who always has the sense to jump the line to see the Queen.”
The two are said to be close even after Harry and Meghan step down as working members in 2020. In the couple’s 2021 bombshell interview with Oprah, Meghan Markle recalled that the queen shared a blanket with her. The couple shared good times with the late king in the interview.
They both attended the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 as well as her funeral. Meghan, however, did not attend King Charles III’s wedding. In June 2021, Harry and Meghan gave birth to their second child after Queen Elizabeth, who they named Princess Lilibet Diana.
