Bear break-in: Stranger tries to escape from window in Colorado | World news

On Wednesday, a bear was filmed running past a house in Colorado. The house is located in a blue sage area which is near Fish Creek Falls, a popular steamboat excursion destination. In Steamboat Springs, a bear eats a quick meal before being caught on camera trying to escape from a second-story window. The bear was seen trying to escape after locking himself in the master bedroom. Heidi Hannah, a neighbor, caught this break-in on camera and called the police for help when she found the house empty.

The bear made several attempts to escape but the window was too high for the bear to drop to the ground. When an officer opened the door, the bear turned itself inside the house. He went downstairs again, escaped from the first floor window from where he first entered and disappeared into the woods. Colorado park officials were also notified.

Ryan MacFarlane, the owner of the building, told Fox31 news that he was at work when the incident occurred. He said, “You’ve got your nails there and you just scratched that window open, you come in, and you help yourself to my pork chops that I had for dinner that night, get some snacks from the restaurant o and hit the seeds – nothing. Too crazy.”

A video showing an adult bear with her cub trying to open a door was shared by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. The bear successfully opened the door but ran away after the noise made him scream. The institute urges people to follow “simple precautions” to prevent human/bear conflict. Trapping and trapping the bear is not considered an option as Colorado is so dense that it is difficult to find a place to capture the bear to ensure no human encounters.
