Asiwaju Of Orile Imo, Chief Olakunle Congratulates Alake On 80th birthday

The Asiwaju of Orile Imo, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State, High Chief Dr. JP  Olakunle Olalekan  has felicitated the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Asiwaju’s message of felicitation to the royal father was contained in a statement signed by his Media aide, Osoba Olajide which was personally made availble to newsmen in Abeokuta.

Alake Of Egba was born on September 14, 1943.

Chief Olakunle in his congratulatory statement described Alake as a detribalised Nigerian and promoter of national unity, cultural preservation and bridge-builder.

He said ” On behalf of the the good people of  Orile Imo, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State, i congratulate His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III on the occassion of his birthday celebration. Old age is a special gift from God to further reflect on the past and impact positively on humanity.

“I share in the joy of so many Nigerians in celebrating another milestone with you and your family, the Council of Chiefs, sons and daughters of Egba-land, as well as friends and associates from the public and private sectors.

“Your ascension to the throne in the last 18 years has further promoted and earned the highly respected stool of Egbaland more regards and honour across the nation and globally. We are proud and happy to felicitate with you on this auspicious occasion.

 

“May Almighty God continue to strengthen you in the meritorious service to the people of Egbaland, government and good people of Ogun State and Nigerians in general.”
