Two suspected rapists, Rotimi Boluwatife and Adeyemi Tosin, have been arrested for allegedly raping two female students, Alimo Karimu and Temitope Ojo, with drugged noodles in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.
A police source, who was privy to the incident but is not permitted to speak to the media, told PUNCH Metro on Monday that the female students’ meals were laced with cannabis, which was used to cook the noodles during a visit to the suspects’ house.
It was said that the students left home in the morning for school, Sholu High School at Ifo, but one of them, Karimu, came home displaying an unregular and funny attitude, which gave her parents a clue that she was under the influence of drugs.
She later confessed after interrogation by her parents and also disclosed the whereabouts of their neighbour’s child, Ojo, who was said to be lying lifelessly in the suspected rapist’s house.
