“Your Image”, a foremost Public Relations weekly television programme, being produced by PR Primus Limited on the Ogun State Television, Abeokuta is to be repackaged for strategic promotion of local and international brands in Nigerian market
Chief Executive Officer of the leading PR firm, Mr.Akin Okudero revealed this during a courtesy visit to the management team of OGTV in Abeokuta, the State capital on Thursday ,as part of activities to celebrate 10th anniversary of the programme on air with a public lecture slated to hold on October 9, 2024 at Park-Inn and Radisson Hotel in the city
Okudero, a PR guru and a Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), said that a number of features would be introduced on the programme by leveraging on advantages of innovations in Information and Communication Technology ICT to widen the scope of its viewership and create a stronger media platform for companies to showcase their various brands to their target customers or market in highly challenging and competitive Nigerian economy
“A number of segments will be introduced on the programme on air, to accommodate youths participation and create a stronger media platform for companies to showcase their various products and services to wider viewers across the globe on OGTV,” he assured
Okudero, a former chairman of the Ogun chapter of NIPR, leading a team of delegation from PR Primus Limited, expressed his deep appreciation to the management of OGTV for the support given so far to ensure the sustenance of “Your Image” for a decade on television, calling for continuous working relationship in the task of rebranding the programme to consolidate on its achievements as a Flagship PR programme on television in Africa
He added that the 10th anniversary of ‘Your Image’ on air had been endorsed by NIPR,as a professional institute that regulates the practice of Public Relations in the country
General Manager of OGTV, Mr.Tunde Kassim assured the PR firm of continuous support in the repackaging of the programme on the station to make it more attractive for prospective sponsors to key into numerous features to be introduced on the programme
The GM who lauded the choice of Prince Yemisi Shyllon as a guest speaker during the 10th anniversary public lecture of ‘Your Image’, also pledged that OGTV as a leading commercial television station in the country would be part of the historic celebration of the programme air
