Dr. Jumoke Soyemi’s led Research Team battled researchers from other institutions nationwide to obtain the TETFund National Research Fund (NRF) award from the highly sought-after grant program. Dr. Soyemi led research titled ‘Identification of Novel Biomarkers and Development of a “Population-Specific” Rapid Diagnostic Test Kit for Diagnosis of Malaria Subtypes in Nigeria’ aims to foster collaboration among academic institutions, industry partners, and government agencies in solving Malaria issue which is a global concern to the world and particularly to Africa.
