President Mohammadu Buhari has said that the Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has saved enough resources to put in place infrastructure that will last for years in Ogun State , adding that his foot print will remain permanent in State.
He also said that Amosun has really prepared himself for the governorship seat, describing the projects as standard

I think he has prepared for the governorship seat, he has prepared himself we for it, he has put infrastructure that will last for many years in Ogun, I congratulate him for having the foresight and saving enough resources to make sure that his foot print remains permanent, he is a clever person.
According to him, the infrastructure he took me through, the flyovers, the bridges, the hospitals and this complex are first class in Africa, he has done very well for himself and Ogun State.
”I am very pleased that I gave been in his books at least publicly so in the Senate, I believe as a senator who is going to seat for four years and I am also going to spend four years, I will automatically assume that he will support”
Meanwhile, the Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun noted that the commissioning of the projects will ensure that life turns comfortable and abundant for the people of Ogun State through the infrastructural development.
He appreciated the efforts of the federal government towards the socio economic development drive in Ogun State .
The tenure of our administration will come to an end in matter of days, for us and for the good people of Ogun Stwte, a great journey of eight years will come to an end at the midnight of Tuesday 28th May, 2019. Even as we prepare to bow out of office, our desire to continue to contribute our quota to the socio economic development of our dear State remains undiluted. Today’s event is an eloquent testimony of that desire.

More importantly, we leave with our heads held high and knowing that we have taken Ogun State a notch higher in terms of socio-economic development”

He there fore thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for honouring him with his presence to commission some of the projects.
