Thousands of members of the ‘Yayi Total Support Group’, a political movement backing Senator Solomon Adeola’s 2027 ambition, on Sunday stormed Ijebu-Igbo alongside the Ogun-East Assembly Forum. They gathered to celebrate the Senator’s 56th birthday and to publicly endorse his bid for the Ogun State governorship in 2027.
The group is renowned for its unwavering commitment, regular empowerment programmes for members, and strong grassroots mobilisation in support of Senator Adeola’s political aspirations.
Over the years, it has actively pursued initiatives and policies aimed at improving the quality of life for constituents. Its consistent outreach efforts have placed it among the leading political movements championing Senator Adeola’s 2027 campaign.
According to the group’s convener, Hon. Jenriyi Osinowo, their empowerment drive is anchored on three core pillars: namely authority, autonomy, and tools. He explained that genuine empowerment involves delegating decision-making authority, fostering self-reliance through autonomy, and providing essential tools to enable success. Osinowo reiterated his commitment to programmes that bring tangible benefits to members and the wider community.
Speaking to journalists in Ijebu-Igbo on Sunday, one of the group’s leaders, Bishop Ademola Peter, described Senator Adeola as a pillar in the current Ogun political space, adding that Ogun State is blessed to have him at this time.
According to him, “We thank God for the life of our principal, Senator Solomon Adeola, and we appreciate our leader and convener, Hon. Jenriyi Osinowo, for his steadfastness and dedication to our cause. We pray that God crowns our efforts towards the 2027 general elections.
“Our principal is running for the governorship, while our own ‘Otunba-Imole’, Hon. Jenriyi Osinowo, is contesting for the House of Representatives. This is our stand, our wish, and our prayer; that God grants success to these two leaders who have achieved uncommon feats in Ogun State and beyond,” Peter said.
In the same vein, Mrs. Ademola Ramota in her reactions praised both Senator Adeola and Hon. Osinowo for their dedication and impacts in Ogun politics.
She said, “No one can deny the contributions of Senator Adeola Yayi and Hon. Jenriyi Osinowo. I have witnessed Osinowo’s leadership excellence for many years; he is a true champion and a humanitarian who has followed in the footsteps of our principal. I pray for God to reward them greatly,”.
