IBD Foundation, yesterday hosted the 2nd edition of its Christian Thanksgiving Concert,a joyous celebration of gratitude, praise, and worship.
The IBD Foundation Christians thanksgiving Concert 2024 tagged “United in Thanksgiving” took place at the All Saints Anglican Church, Ilaro, Ogun State.
The event brought together Christians from various denominations and communities across the state to come together and express their gratitude to God for His blessings and mercies.
The event also featured an array of talented gospel artists, choirs, and musicians who ministered in song, dance, and instrumentation.
Among the notable names in the Nigerian gospel music industry, and artists on the list included, Apostle Debo Ojubuyi, Oluwatoyin Ojagbemi, Elijah Daniel, Bois Olorun, Vickeyz, Amos Adeboye amongst others.
Beyond being a concert, IBD Foundation also fed and distributed food items which included rice, beans, garri, semo and sealed grounded pepper to the crowd.
While speaking at the well-attended event, the Founder of IBD Foundation, the wife of Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, Mrs Omolara Judith Egungbohun explained that this year Christian Thanksgiving Concert aimed to promote unity, gratitude, and spiritual renewal among Christians.
Mrs Omolara Egungbohun enjoined the Christians community to embrace oneness, lift one another up, and work collaboratively to spread God’s love at home, communities and beyond.
She equally honoured and appreciated all the spiritual leaders, the pastors, ministers, and men and women of God, Royal Fathers, and all the special guests.
According to her “Today, we gather as one body in Christ, united in faith and purpose. The Bible reminds us in Ephesians 4:3 to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
“As we reflect on the year past, we recognize that despite challenges, God’s faithfulness has been our anchor. This gathering is a time to celebrate our blessings, express our gratitude, and renew our commitment to live as shining examples of Christ’s love.”
“I would also like to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event possible. My wonderful team ,Your dedication, prayers, and hard work are deeply appreciated.”
Mrs. Egungbohun therefore expressed appreciation to her husband, Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, for being a pillar of support for the success of the event, saying that, despite being a Muslim, Alhaji Egungbohun made significant contributions to the success of the Christians Thanksgiving Concert 2024.
