Few weeks back, I penned a simple piece with the title “THE UNSTOPPABLE YAYI”, wherein I said without equivocation that Sen Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi embodies history. That is, history of good governance in Ogun West and by extension, Ogun State.
At that point of submission, I have no slightest information that the most Distinguished Sen Yayi was cooking something novel and unprecedented developmentally in Ogun West nay State. The new project on the horizon is overhauling of the epileptic power supply in major parts of Ogun West. It’s a power revolution initiative. The listed areas and projects to be executed include:

Reactivation of Igbogila to Ayetoro 33KV Overhead Lines
Reactivation of Igbogila to Ijoun 33KV Overhead Lines
Reactivation of 33KV Overhead Lines from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro to Oja Odan through Ebute Igbooro (331 spans)
Construction of a dedicated 33KV feeder to Ilaro Township from Papalanto Transmission Station
Construction of Owode Feeder from Ota Transmission Station to Owode River Bridge, including maintenance works along:
Idiroko – Ipokia – Akere – Yewa
Aferiku Town, Tube – Ode Pata – Agada – Igua
Agosasa – Bode Ase – Idosemo – Idosa – Ijofin

At the completion of the project, the face of Ogun State will most definitely change for good. There will be new lease of life. Truly, the central focus is Ogun West but the contagious nature and the ripple effects of this undertaking is infectious to all. Some of the development order in view include but not limited to; Facilitation of Trade and Investment at rapid rate, Artisans will benefit more with surge in their craft and trade, Companies and production centers will breed a new life, Attractions of New Investment, The pull factor of regular electricity cannot be overemphasized, Improved electricity will enhance quality of life, there will be increase in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, there will be enhancement in learning and education, digital learning will now gain more impetus and our kids won’t be left behind again to face a bleak future due to lack of basic exposure to technology at early learning stage, there will be reduction in cost of good and services because the cost of production will definitely be on reduction. It’s an endless illuminating possibilities and opportunities on the horizon. Every transmitted electricity will be a catalyst for transformation and prosperity to a new developmental order.
The general wellbeing of our people has suffered immeasurably in the time past. But life is already better with Sen Yayi’s representation. No one can debate that. Crime and criminality is on regression because the various empowerment has engages the hands and minds of a whole lot. An idle hand is the devil’s workshop so says our elders. The real game changer for economic growth is the new focus of Senator Yayi with the average target of 20hours of electricity supply in a day. If this isn’t a milestone, what is it then? It’s a watershed. History will be kind to Sen Yayi. He will be unforgettable.
One thing is clear about Sen Yayi’s representation thus far. It’s the consolidation and recalibration to keep the momentum going. He keeps reinventing the wheel day in day out. Yayi’s representation has proven to be for humanity and better life for all. His representation has been about substance not noise and not for the headline unlike some other whose petition writing has now been added to their forte. They’re just anti-people, no more no less. Any politics that develop hatred for the development and it’s facilitators is nothing but bad politics. If care is not taken, waterloo is near for such unless political restitution is done in no time. Yayi is on the rise and no one can bring him down. The prayers of the common man on the street won’t allow it. Thank you Sen Yayi, my mother back home in Ifonyintedo is already on the moon with the news of the new focus. Pumping water won’t be a problem again.
