Top Industrialist, Alh Adebola Adegunwa Boosts Health Infrastructure In Ogun

What makes a man great is not the amount of wealth he possesses. It is not his chieftaincy titles; the awards he is decorated with; the number of wives and children he has.

Neither is it the number of his houses but more of his contributions to solving societal problems. This must have been the driving force of the legendary contributions of the Asiwaju of Ijebu Land, High Chief Dr Alhaji Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa to humanity.

His philanthropic gestures dot the nooks and crannies of Ogun State and Nigeria.

They range from education, religion, economic, employment generation and now to health.

He has distinguished himself as a foremost industrialist of note through contributions to the cause of history and humanity.

When the dire need for lecture auditorium hit the then Ogun State University now, Olabisi Onabanjo University at the outset of the development of the permanent site.

Alhaji Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa made a giant contributions to the erection of an ultra modern lecture theater in his name at the permanent site of the institution.

The same was renovated and upgraded with millions of Naira in 2024.

On the religious front, as a Muslim, the Central Mosque in Ososa is to his credit and many more in towns, cities and villages across the state and Nigeria.

In another very pragmatic adventure, another multimillion edifice was birthed at Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital.

The Trauma Center, with 3 theatre, 6 – 8 bedded ICU wards, 4 bedded high dependency unit with 32 bedded wards is set for commission by His Excellency, Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 4th April, 2025 under the Chief Host and Visitor to the University, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, the executive government of Ogun State.

This isn’t the first time such a donation was done to the medical school.

Likewise, Ogun State College of Education, which metamorphosd into Tai Solarin University of Education, has benefited immensely from his generosity.

The entire Annexe of the tertiary institution at Ososa was donated to TASUED

“Me lo ni a fe ka ninu eyin adepele?” (the list is inexhaustible)

The 150 computer ICT school at Ososa under the management of SAAF Foundation is a world-class study centre.

The positive contributions of this magnitude to the Ogun State health sector with the ongoing massive medical infrastructural development embarked upon by the present administration PDA would turn around the health sector revival initiative when eventually commissioned.

As we wish Baba Adegunwa 80th birthday on the 4th of April 2025, we pray to Allah to preserve him in good health for the reminder of his life on earth.

And protect all his investments for the benefit of humanity and over 5,000 direct workers earning a living under his watch.
