United Kingdom based elegant beauty queen and fashionista, Koyinsola Bukola Awosanya has ditched Egbe Bobagunwa Omoba Obinrin Akile-Ijebu, one of the age-groups otherwise known as Regbrergbe in Ijebuland.
Konyisola who once served as the Otun Iyalode of the female group made her decision known through a correspondence to the Regberegbe.
She disclosed that her initial decision to team up with the group was borne out of her desire to give back to the community within a healthy environment, devoid of competition and rivalry.
According to her, “my intention has always been to serve with dedication, loyalty, and commitment to the progress of the Egbe. I accepted the role of Otun Iyalode with the hope that my contributions would support the unity, growth, and harmony of the Egbe.
However, over time, it has become clear to me that the environment within the Egbe no longer provides the love, unity, and peace of mind that are essential for my continued involvement. I believe that every association should be a place where mutual respect, understanding, and togetherness flourish. Unfortunately, I have not consistently felt these values reflected in my experience, and remaining under such conditions has become emotionally and mentally draining for me, she added.
Speaking further, Konyinsola said her new move to part ways with the group was to protect her peace, uphold her personal values, and also prioritize her well-being.
In a new development, Konyi as she is fondly addressed by her admirers in the social circle has announced Egbe Bobagunwa Obinrin Akile Ijebu as her new choice.
