How I wish there is someone around today from Senator Olalekan Mustapha’s family who can give us a quality narrative of his birth and christening events. The reason for this desire is to discern the significances that occur either on his birthday or the christening of a child destined for greatness.
The overwhelming awesomeness that euphorically makes parents beam at the success of their child who exceedingly performs above his equals would have written conspicuously on the faces of Senator Lekan Mustapha’s parents on his birthday, today.
Though I’m neither his father nor his sibling, however I feel the awesomeness sparked by the great affection that I have for him. I feel the euphoria, the aura envelops me as my mind reminisces on the over five decades of friendship and brotherhood that Parakoyi and I share.
I remember vividly how Senator Lekan Mustapha early in life demonstrates special acumen on exchanges of material and intellectual items commonly called business. I recall his capabilities at succeeding in the many transactions he partakes in that I’m privilege to know about. Summarily, Senator Lekan Mustapha is convincingly a successful businessman before venturing into public life.
His venture into public life was a misconception by many people descriptively termed “detractors.” Their belief was Senator Lekan Mustapha was out to make more money for himself on the public service platforms. The detractors are unconvinced about the sheer intellectual and dynamism that Senator Lekan Mustapha could impart to public benefit. Nonetheless, the quality strides of Senator Lekan Mustapha in his public service dispositions have awed the detractors.
In short, Senator Lekan Mustapha’s achievements for public good is a great success for Nigeria as a country. He recorded laudable success at the last Senate when he served again as a Senator.
He was the most outstanding Senator in project executions for the public when he served the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a Senator in the last Senate.
Reflecting on his achievements for the country, I strongly feel that I should motivate him to consider serving the Ogun State public in the governorship capacity by 2027 to succeed our able Governor Dapo Abiodun.
What motivates my choice of him is his special skills at multi-tasking. You need to look at the achievements that Senator Lekan Mustapha had in the last Senate to agree with my choice of him.
If he would respond well to it, a man of such great feats should inform the public on his hardwork for public good with his detailed autobiography possibly by his next birthday.
Governor ‘Dapo Abiodun’s collosal efforts to serve the Ogun State public have been remarkable in his first term and the ongoing second term in office. The remarkable achievements need to be sustained by a capably tested politician of equal or similar work rate with our able Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The continuity of success at work in Ogun State’s governorship office beyond 2027 should not be compromised to allow low quality to replace high quality.
Much said about the feats in business and public lives of my great friend whom I consider as an asset for the public good.
Parakoyi, I wish you a great birthday and more of your lofty dreams would come true. Amen!
