Tuesday, 29th August, 2023, was a special day at Oladunjoye Resource Centre. On this date, the auditing unit of MTN Nigeria Limited visited the premises of Itele High school, Itele-Ijebu, to see, first hand, the utilization of their facilities by Oladunjoye Resource Centre, as we powered the training of 30 secondary school students in information and communications technology. The facilities have been graciously approved for our use by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the school Principal. So, when the Principal of the school told the auditing staff of the Company that Oladunjoye Resource Centre was making use of the facilities, it was their pleasure to come see what we do.
The visit was of immense opportunities as it opened potential for mutually beneficial relationship for MTN and Oladunjoye Resource Centre, a not-for-profit non-governmental Organization that sees youth empowerment, capacity building, and re-directing the focus of our youth from nefarious and unwholesome practices to making them become globally acceptable and responsible people, so that we can safely hand over our society’s future to them. The MTN team was led by Olamide Musari while the Principal of Itele High School, Mrs Aikulola T. O and Barrister Taofik Lawal and Wale Adenaya, Board Chairman and Board Secreatry of Oladunjoye Resource Centre respectively, received the delegation.
